    Estimate: $200

    1904-59 small group including 1904 NSW to UK bearing 2½d, 'NSW/T/25' in shield and '5D/F.B.'; two 1907 covers to Hobart bearing 4d Blank at base, one from Traralgon the other from Meredith; 1916 GB to Australia with 1d unused pair affixed, large circle '2D' in black; 1959 stampless local Sydney cover bearing 8d No Wmk, mixed condition (5)

    1905 and 1907 spiked covers Victoria to Hobart, one bearing 2d Blank at base BW D3, oval 'T2D' in black; three bearing 4d Blank at base BW D12a, two cancelled by datestamp, other mss. cancel, each with 'T4D' in black oval (4)

    1933-38 group incl PPCs from GB bearing 1d due and framed 'TAX/1D/No2/SYDNEY' and 'No3'; local covers with attempted use of 2d Stamp Duty, tax paid by 4d due (BW D119); 1938 (4th Jan) cover from G.B., underpaid 9d for airmail rate, 'T' within hexagon and mss. '180', framed 'TAX/(mss.)1/6/SYDNEY' in red, 3d pair BW D118 + 1/- BW D121 affixed, the 3d rare on cover, few faults (6 items)

    1937 (25th Oct) registered cover Melbourne to Sunshine (Bulk Reg'n label) bearing NSW Sesqui 2d only, underpaying registration fee of 3d and taxed at 6d, with 1931-37 1d (2) and 4d affixed and cancelled by mss and straight-line date stamp, oval 'T' and mss.'6d', framed 'IRREGULARLY /POSTED' in black, filing crease, still an attractive cover

    1938 (1st Apr) Officially Registered at NSW 150th Anniversary Philatelic Exhibition, endorsed 'TAX 6d/(initials)/supposed to Contain/Coin', pair of 1922-30 Third Wmk 3d dues affixed and tied by neat 6.4.38 Jamberoo cds

    1938 (29th Dec) airmail Perth to Victoria bearing KGVI 2d (2) and QM 1d, underpaying double airmail rate by 3d, hexagon 'T/6D' struck in black, pair of 1931-37 3d BW D118 affixed and tied on arrival by Sunshine cds, few slight stains but a rare postage due on cover, particularly as a multiple

    1939 (30th Jan) airmail Perth to Victoria bearing KGVI 2d and QM 1d (3) underpaying the double airmail rate by 3d, 1922-30 6d BW D112D affixed and cancelled by Sunshine cds; 1940 (22nd Apr) cover New York to Victoria bearing US 2c only, US admonishment and 'T' markings, on arrival 'T' in oval and mss '3½', 1938 ½d and 3d affixed and tied by Sunshine cds's (2 covers)

    Estimate: $200

    1950 (29th Mar) underpaid airmail cover Los Angeles to Sydney bearing US 25c, 'T/(mss.150)/CENTIMES' within circle and framed 'T/(mss.4/2)/N°1' both in violet, 1946 Redrawn 1d (50) in multiples affixed and tied on arrival, some faults/creasing to be expected on such a large multiple, but a remarkable franking
