    4d Bright Red-Orange [1], SG 10, earliest impression with even margins neatly tied to 1854 (26 Jul) entire to Hobart by '59' cancel of Launceston with datestamp in black alongside, 'PAID' handstamp in red at right. This is one of the earliest Plate II usages recorded and generally accepted as the finest 4d Courier on cover in existence. 1979 BPA Cert states the stamp is SG 5, which we suspect is based purely upon the intense colour of the adhesive.
