    Imperforate Plate Proof pair in Green on Wmk Large Star paper. Very faint tone spot at the top of the left unit otherwise fine. Ex Rivett-Carnac

    Imperforate Plate Proof in Green, block of nine on Wmk Large Star Paper with one unit showing the re-entry. A fine multiple. Ex White and Baillie

    Imperforate Plate Proof in Dull Rose on Wmk Large Star paper, a block of eight (4 x 2) with a faint horizontal crease between the two rows. Fine. Ex White & Baillie

    Imperforate Plate Proof in Gold on Green surfaced paper, a marginal block of 4 from the top of the sheet, positions 4-5/14-15, one with re-entry, minor imperfections. A spectacular proof, ex J.S. White

    Selection comprising perf 13 dull violet on dated fragment (26.2.1869) additionally franked 1/- & 8d Diadems (perforations stained) cancelled with four strikes of the Sydney duplex, another similar example additionally franked 2 x 1/- Diadem and 4d DLR cancelled with three strikes of the Sydney duplex (4.11.1870) plus two used singles perf 12 and 12x10 and a 'SPECIMEN' opt perf 13 (no gum)

    1880 5/- Deep Purple Perf 13, a few blunt perfs at top left otherwise fine with large part o.g. and scarce thus. SG 177 Cat £225

    1897 Re-issue Perf. 12 x 11 sheet of 50 split between the 7th and 8th columns, and showing the burelage in the left margin. SG 297e, Cat. £2500+

    1897 Re-issue mint marginal block four from the top of the sheet, Perf 11 x 12. A few blunt or separated perforations though only one unit mounted and very fresh. SG 297ce Cat £200+

    1897 Re-issue selection of used examples including various shades, a few defective including five pairs, a strip of three and one example (another removed) on 1904 (17 Sep) part parcel tag from Araluen to the Royal Mint in Sydney. Min SG Cat £442 (34)

    1897 Re-issue: 1901 (28 May) OHMS long envelope used privately from Sydney to London. Franked with complete 'set' of all contemporary values to 5/- including 5/- 'Coin' (Cat from £130 on cover - and only three examples believed to exist) and 12½d on 1/- DLR (Cat from £160 on cover and four or five examples believed to exist). A few blemishes mainly confined to rear though an unusual piece of colourful confectionery
