    1876 (19 Apr) inwards mourning cover G.B. to Home Rule bearing 6d Plate 14 tied by Tottenham duplex, arrival datestamp, framed 'ADVERTISED/UNCLAIMED' in red and manuscript 'Unclaimed', backstamps of Sydney, Mudgee and Home Rule. Rare and attractive

    1886 (27 Jul) OHMS printed on cover locally used at Sydney bearing 1d optd 'OS' tied by concentric rings. Scarce

    Estimate: $600

    1894 (20th Oct) envelope with monogram of Grand Central Coffee Palace on flap Sydney to Hawkes Bay (N.Z.) showing very fine strike of 'Saved from wreck of the/"WAIRARAPA."' in lilac, backstamped Danevirke. Accompanied by earlier write-up stating 'The wreck of the steamer was sold at auction on the 6th of November for £70, less than a single cover now brings at auction'!

    1894 (Aug) registered cover bearing 2d (4) and 1895 (Mar) 3d Registered Envelope uprated with ½d (4), 8d, 7½d on 6d, both to the same addressee in Guatemala, the earlier item endorsed 'Per C.-A. R.M.S. "ARAWA"' and with backstamps of Sydney, British Columbia and San Francisco, other Sydney and New Orleans, U.S. registration labels affixed and arrival cachets, minor blemishes. Outstanding destination

    1897 (5 Nov) use of 2d Emu Envelope to Sydney cancelled in magenta with double-oval 'BOURKE/N.S.W.' handstamp, another on reverse. Rare and fine
