Lot 1033		Estimate: $2,000 1856 2d Die proof in black on India paper from the penultimate state of the die mounted on card, 38 x 44mm, with small fault at lower right corner of proof, otherwise fine. 1979 BPA Cert.
Lot 1034		Estimate: $4,000 2d Die Proof showing final state of the die, printed in black on India paper and affixed to card (39x43mm), very fine. BPA Cert (1977)
Lot 1035		Estimate: $3,000 2d Blue block of 22 with large part o.g., touched or cut into in places but with excellent colour, light creases and some minor gum stains on reverse. An exceptional and rare multiple, ex Frankenstein
Lot 1036		Estimate: $25,000 2d Plate I complete plate proof sheet of 120 in black on wove paper with holes punched in positions 11, 12, 24, 36, 73, 97, 104 & 105 to indicate where repairs were required. The reverse bears manuscript notation 'The perforated labels to be renewed as speedily as possible' and signed and dated by Thomas Richards with a Treasury handstamp of the same day. Heavily creased in places though a unique and extraordinary Exhibition item. Ex Osborne and White. Illustrated in Volume IV of the Robson Lowe Encyclopedia
Lot 1037		Estimate: $12,000 2d Plate II block of six (2x3) from base of the sheet with margins all around and large part o.g. Vertically and horizontally creased and a brown erosion hole in the second unit nevertheless it is the largest recorded multiple. An outstanding exhibition piece.
