2d Plate I complete plate proof sheet of 120 in black on wove paper with holes punched in positions 11, 12, 24, 36, 73, 97, 104 & 105 to indicate where repairs were required. The reverse bears manuscript notation 'The perforated labels to be renewed as speedily as possible' and signed and dated by Thomas Richards with a Treasury handstamp of the same day. Heavily creased in places though a unique and extraordinary Exhibition item. Ex Osborne and White. Illustrated in Volume IV of the Robson Lowe Encyclopedia
