    1856-58 Printed in Adelaide Imperf 2d Blood-Red, variety 'Printed on both sides', 1983 RPSL Certificate not stating that this is also 'Doubly printed', SG 8a variant, margins in places. The first such example we have seen

    1890 (May) 'REPRINT' and 'SPECIMEN' overprints with 47 adhesives to £20 on two presentation sheets, together with Postal Notes 14 values with serial numbers '00001' 1/6d to £1 overprinted 'SPECIMEN' (wavy) in red, affixed into 'POSTAL AND TELEGRAPH/CONFERENCE./ADELAIDE, MAY 1890' hardbound report inscribed in gold on blue, presented to 'THE HON. B STAFFORD BIRD.' (Postmaster General of Tasmania), additional manuscript message on inner leave 'With J H Gordon's Compliments' (President of this conference and Minister for Education in South Australia). Slight imperfections to cover, contents in very fine condition
