    Estimate: $250 Realised Price : $250

    1899 ½d Yellow-green, 1d Rosine, 2d Bright Violet and 2½d Indigo CTO with 'ADELAIDE/S.A.' cds for U.P.U. distribution, with additional 'ULTRAMAR' handstamps in blue, applied in Lisbon prior to despatch of stamps to Portuguese Colonies. ½d no gum, others large part OG, 2½d with tear at right. Scarce (4)

    Estimate: $180 Realised Price : $270

    1901 Federal Presentation Set, comprising 1d, 2d, 2½d, 4d, 5d, 6d, 9d, 1/-, 2/-, 5/-, 10/-, 15/- and £1 (lacking the ½d, 3d, and 2/6d), CTO with Adelaide single or double ring datestamps, somewhat toned and only small part OG. Also with the presentation letter to C.J. Wilson, MLA of Armidale, NSW (13)

    Reprints: Range of 'REPRINT' overprints on stockcard, with Perkins Bacon Type 2d Red, 6d Blue Imperf; 1d Green, 2d Orange, 4d Grey-Violet, 6d Blue, 8d on 9d Orange-brown, 10d on 9d Yellow, 10d on 9d Orange, 1/- Yellow Rouletted; 1d Green, 4d Red-violet, 8d on 9d Orange-brown, 1/- Brown perf; also ½d on 1d and 2d DLR types perf, and PB 9d, 2/- and DLR 6d optd 'SPECIMEN'. Some small faults, but generally above average (19)

    Estimate: $350T

    1843 (30 May) entire from Adelaide to London endorsed 'pr "Emma" via Hobart Town', rated '6' in red for paid ship letter, and '8' on arrival. Fine, almost complete strike of crowned oval 'GENERAL POST OFFICE/ADELAIDE' ds across back fold, and with 'SHIP LETTER' and London arrival cds (14OC14 1843) in red on reverse. Few minor faults, including internal tear in letter, however a fine example of this scarce Adelaide marking

    1893 (29 Aug) registered use of 'Australian Stamp Co.' advertising cover-front from Adelaide to USA, uncommon franking of Bantam ½d and 2½d on 4d surcharge (2), small blemishes, very early trader advert item (second earliest recorded for this firm)

    Northern Territory: 1905 (10 Jun) Tattersalls cover (restored spike hole) to Hobart bearing S.A. 2d Tied by PT DARWIN squared circle ds, another strike to left, and with Hobart arrival cds
