    Estimate: $500 Realised Price : $380

    Postal History: 1861 (18th Nov) cover from U.K. to Aldinga (where backstamped - 13th Jan 1862), subsequently returned to Adelaide where very fine strike of scarce oval 'ADVERTISED UNCLAIMED/ADELAIDE' datestamp in blue (28th Feb) was applied

    Estimate: $1,250 Realised Price : $950

    Postal History: 1865 (23rd May) inwards cover bearing 1862-64 9d Bistre + 1d Red paying ½oz rate, tied by Winchester duplex, addressed to Hobart, misdirected to South Australia where 'MISSENT/TO ADELAIDE.S.A.' was applied in black, framed inwards Ship Letter, diamond handstamp in red on reverse. Rare "Missent" and franking of 9d to an Australian Colony

    Postal History: 1870s-1900s selection with 1908 double rate to N.S.W. bearing long type 4d, cancels including 'P.A.RAILWAY' cds, squared-circles (noted Bakara, Clare Type I, 1884 Terowie Type I), Stationery (some unused), useful PPC's, etc, generally fair/fine (44 items)
