Unusual multiples from the August 1889 UPU distribution, much scarcer than multiples from the 1892 distribution of Perf 11-12 Reprints (5 pairs) (see phpto)

    Postal History: 1872 (2 Dec) large cardboard parcel front from Adelaide to Wimborne, Dorset, redirected to Basingstoke, endorsed 'Parcel only Without Letter', bearing 4d and 1/- Perkins, Bacon cancelled 'G.P.O. ADELAIDE'. Toned due to the acidic nature of the cardboard, nevertheless a remarkable early survivor of non-letter rate mail
