    1871 (2 Jan) entire letter to London endorsed 'Via Brindisi' bearing 1d and 6d pair tied by Melbourne duplex, London arrival datestamp. Minor faults, although perhaps the most attractive of the (now) six recorded covers from the short-lived 1/1d rate via this route. A new discovery
