    Original state of dies: 3d Blue, SG 4a, large margins three sides, touching at right, with Butterfly '19' of The Leigh (later Shelford), SG 4a, small stain. Rated RR

    Third state of dies: 1d Dull Red pair [5-28], SG 8a, full-margined, the [28] a substitution for [6] in lower right intermediate transfer group of 30, tied by Butterfly '1' to 1850 (12 Nov) cover Melbourne to Sydney, paying 2d Inland letter rate. Ex Purves, Perry

    Fourth state of dies - 'vertical drapes': 2d Pale Dull Brown, SG 17b, margins in places, with Barred Oval '9' of Mustonís Creek (later Caramut). Rated RRR

    Lithographed by Campbell & Fergusson: 1d Orange-Brown and Dull Rose-Red shades, SG 27/27a, showing constant secondary varieties on 'Barelli' original exhibition leaves, comprising singles (12) and pairs (2), includes prominent 'ON' of 'ONE' obliterated (2, both shades), generally fine to superb, (16).     Lithographed by Campbell & Fergusson: 3d Greenish Blue, Blue, Deep Blue and Indigo shades, SG 31 group, almost complete UNUSED reconstruction of 19 of the 24 units in an intermediate transfer group, mostly full-margined, odd small fault, thin, here and there, generally good to very fine. Ex Pack ([2], [11], [18]), Purves [3], Harvey ([4], [17]), Pack and Wawn [8], Ferrary [21], Ferrary, Pack, Goodell [24], Perry (all). Minimum Cat £19000
