    1855-56 Lithographed by Messrs Campbell & Fergusson: Stone B, 2d Brown [2], SG 37, large-margined, lightly cancelled, slight stain on reverse. This extremely rare shade, similar to Ham's 'chestnut' (SG 18a) and Campbell's 'black' (SG 22a), is believed to be a proof/colour trial pressed into postal use. Kellow states 'about one dozen copies known' clearly confirming that the £70 catalogue value is irrelevant. Ex Perry
