    1917 (26 Feb) optd 1d Die reply card, message half used from Melbourne 1917 (30 May) to a POW in Germany (Stieg P37, HG 34). A rarity

    1885-1909 unused range, mainly two of each with different settings, shades, etc (Stieg P7-22, HG 5-20 group); also 1909 1d Rose Die III with off white reverse (Stieg P35a); and 1905 Official 1d (Stieg D4) written on only, some minor blemishes, mainly fine. Stieg minimum cat US$950 (34)

    1889 2d Violet (Stieg P11, HG9) used in 1889 (6 Sep) to Dublin, Ireland. Stieg notes that cards used correctly prior to UPU period are 'very scarce', tiny tear, minor creasing: and 1905 1d+1d Rose (Stieg P31, HG 28) reply portion used at Melbourne with message for RPSV (2 items)
