    Composite Essay for the 1862 6d comprising a black proof of the 1860 design, the country name and value having been excised, affixed to a card with 'VICTORIA' and 'SIX PENCE' inserted in pen and ink, the whole further affixed to portion of thin card endorsed 'B'.     1862 on Saunders paper, the adapted design of the 6d Grey-Black, SG 106a, mint block of 28 (4x7) with portion of imprint, original brown gum.
