Lot 225		Estimate: $500 1878 (1 Aug) stampless 'O.P.S.O.' registered cover with manuscript '316' in red, addressed 'Mr E F Adams/Stamp Importer/Cincinnati/Ohio' showing '(crown)/PERTH' within oval at lower left and '(CROWN)/PAID', both in black, with datestamp below, U.S. receiving marks on reverse, cover somewhat aged and small portion missing at lower left. Includes original contents on 'Postal and Telegraph Department' letterhead
Lot 226		Estimate: $5,000 Realised Price : $3,600 1897 (2 Apr) folded over registered cover (making dimensions of 228x140mm) 'FROM THE ROYAL INSURANCE COMPANY' to Ontario Canada bearing Postal Fiscals Wmk CA over Crown 1d, 2/6d and 5/- Dull Purple cancelled by 'R' within circle, Perth Registered, London transit and Toronto arrival datestamps. Few minor blemishes as to be expected but extremely rare usage. Without question one of the great Revenue covers of Western Australia
Lot 227		Estimate: $125 Realised Price : $100 1906 (6 Mar) cover to Switzerland bearing 2d tied by Kalgoorlie duplex, backstamps of Singapore and Geneva, readdressed to Singapore and later to Banjermassin (Dutch Indies), roughly opened at top. Unusual
