    1905-12 Watermark Crown over Double-lined A (sideways), Single-line Perf 11 x 12½ 2d Yellow small hole in top of stamp, and with gum thin, but rare. This combination of the two single-line perf gauges is not listed in the 2004 Brusden-White catalogue. SG 162, cat £1100

    1905-12 Watermark Crown over Double-lined A (sideways), Single-line Perf 12½ x 11 x 12½ x 12½ 3d Brown fine used, cancelled with portions of two strikes of Southern Cross cds, and very rare. This variety of the compound perf is not mentioned in the Brusden-White catalogue. BW W29 (2004) cat AU$2000, SG 163 cat £1200

    Registration Envelopes: 1902 (30 Aug) use of 3d Red-brown (PSAC unlisted sub-type of RE1 - knife-cut P2) to Germany, uprated with 2½d tied by 'R' within oval, double oval 'REGISTRATION BRANCH/30AUG02/KALGOORLIE W.A.' in violet, framed Perth transit handstamp in violet, Magdeburg arrival backstamp. Believed to be the earliest known use of WA Type P2 registration envelope
