    1929 (29 Oct) cover flown Hay to Melbourne bearing 3d Air (2) + KGV 1½d (2), 'Blue Angel' vignettes affixed both sides, weak strike of framed 'FORWARDED/BY AIRMAIL' (latest recorded use from Hay) and straight-line 'PER AERIAL MAIL' both sides, minor creasing

Unusual example of paying the internal airmail rate to Sydney and underpaying the surface carriage to USA, though sent as privilege consular mail
