    1946 Sir Thomas Mitchell 2d, 3d and 1/- presentation die proofs in issued colours in sunken mounts affixed on blue-green card folders. Only five sets of die proofs were prepared, one of which is in the Royal Philatelic Collection. Fresh and superb, and a rarely offered set. The 3d and 1/- also include the envelopes in which the proofs were enclosed. BW 239-241DP(1), cat AU$15000 (3)

    1948-56 Coat-of-Arms 1 used with contemporary 2/- pair, 3d and 4d attractively tied to 1952 (18 Mar) parcel tag from Perth to Harvey, 24/7d aggregate paying 3d first oz. + 2d per additional oz. x 113 + 9d registration fee (PO rules dictated that articles bearing gold, silver and precious metals, being ineligible for parcel rates, had to be sent at letter rates, and could be registered only when paid at letter rates)
