From the Queensland distribution to the U.P.U., which sent stamps in mint condition, with 'ULTRAMAR' handstamp applied in Lisbon prior to desaptch to Portuguese Colonies. Both no gum, otherwise fine. Closed spike hole as usual, and cancellations of postage dues somewhat smudged, but a scarce combination use of the 8d, the total of 1/6d being the total tax levied on a group of covers

Rare solo use of ½d postage due for this purpose
