The Sydney Showgrounds were used by the armed forces between 1940 and 1946; however, Hopson records that the military P.O. was closed between 1.3.1941 and 20.7.1941, when the temporary Show Grounds P.O. was apparently re-opened, but examples are rare (2 covers)
