    Bulgaria: 1938 (4 Nov) commercial air mail advertising cover to Victoria franked 55l for ½oz air mail rate via Greece, adhesives tied by Poste Aerienne-Sofia datestamp, backstamped Athens and on arrival at Melbourne. Rare origin

    Dodecanese Islands: 1939 (Apr-Dec) air mail covers (roughly opened) from same correspondence Castelrosso to Adelaide, franked at 5.50l and 4.75l respectively, latter censored at Melbourne on arrival (16 Jan 1940). Extraordinary origin

    Iran/Bushire British Occupation: 1916 (18 Apr) registered cover (a little reduced) from Captain E W Reynolds, 96th Infantry addressed to 'Mrs Reynolds in Sydney' bearing India 2a 6p (2) tied by very fine 'BUSHIRE/REG/18 AP/16' datestamp, Sydney and Edgecliff backstamps. Exceptional

    Mexico: 1937 (Apr-Jun) commercial air mail covers from same correspondence to Victoria franked 2p 25c, sent via Pacific and Atlantic routes respectively and showing instructional handstamps to those ends, former without backstamps, latter with Paris transit and Melbourne arrival. Attractive duo, scarce

    Paraguay: UTOPIAN SETTLEMENT NEW AUSTRALIA PARAGUAY: 1925 cover (small faults) with Paraguay Official 1922 'C' opt on 50c (8, two overlap cover) tied by four strikes of 'COLONIA NVA AUSTRALIA PARAGUAY/19 SEP 1925' datestamp, addressed to 'The Bulletin' Sydney, backstamped Asuncion and Buenos Aires. A new discovery to add to the few covers recorded from the Australian Settlement
