Lot 549		Estimate: $350 Realised Price : $270 1918-1928 used accumulation of 'Star' Embossed George V PO envelopes, with 1½d Brown (4), 2d Orange No 'POSTAGE' (37) and 'POSTAGE'(2), 2d Red (58), 1½d on 2d Red (7), 1½d Green (5), 1½d Red (101), 2d on 1½d Red (2, cat AU$200 each), and Oval Embossed George V 1½d Red (6), 2d on 1½d Red (6) and 2d Red (6). Various dies and envelope stocks are represented, and including uprated and overseas usages. Many are used within or from the Rev. Graebner (SA) accumulation, and there is considerable postmark interest. Some roughly opened or with other faults and a few are fronts only, but condition generally good (234)

Graebner (SA) inwards and outwards correspondence, and with considerable postmark interest. Some roughly opened or slightly reduced, but condition generally good. Unusual in this quantity (79)

Lot 552		Estimate: $350 1920-24 George V 'Star' Embossed Post Office envelopes cancelled-to-order for U.P.U. distribution, comprising 2d Orange (BW EP21w), 2d Red (EP23(1)w), 1½d on 2d Red (EP26w), and 1½d Red (EP28(1)w (2, one with 'SPECIMEN' receiving authority handstamp applied in Bechuanaland, but the envelope unfortunately spoiled by an offset of a registration envelope as a result of poor storage conditions). Lot 555		Estimate: $200 Realised Price : $190 1953-56 3½d Red QEII Embossed, both sizes used on first day of issue cancelled at G.P.O. Sydney and addressed to Hayward Parish (the NSW Distributor of Stamps), 145 x 90mm dated 2 SE 53, and 132 x 108mm dated 28 OC 53 (unlisted by BW, which states date of issue to be early November). Also 1956 4d Plum Embossed with G.P.O. first day of issue cancel (18 OC 56), and 1959 5d Dark Blue Embossed cancelled first day of issue (1 OCT 59) and addressed (4)
Lot 556		Estimate: $50 Realised Price : $38 1974 7c Magenta QEII Embossed 'Little Letters' sold by Post Office in packs of 5, one unused, and two used examples cancelled Camberwell 30 September 1974 and Melbourne 16 June 1975, plus an example of the note paper sold with the envelopes, and the original pack (toning). Relatively few of these envelopes were used (2)

Lot 558		Estimate: $200 Envelopes: 1933 2d Red + 3d Blue George V Sideface used stamped-to-order cut-out from Hobart Savings Bank registered envelope, the 3d impression damaged at lower left. Lot 573		Estimate: $350 1916-1918 ½d Green 'Star' Embossed stamped-to-order envelopes on stock similar to that used for the Post Office envelopes prepared for U.P.U. distribution, but without any user identification and almost certainly for the Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Victoria, comprising superb unused in yellow-green shade, and three uprated examples in dull green shade, with 1½d and 2d rates to Rev Graebner in Unley (SA) (one taxed but with postage due removed), and a 1½d rate to Rev Darsow in Toowoomba, Qld.
