    Official Postcard: 1927 (23rd Aug) use of KGV 1d Violet punctured 'OS/NSW' for Sydney Harbour Trust uprated with 1½d Red used at Sydney, arrival datestamp. Rare

    1917 (16th Dec) OAS cover to 'Lieut W.P. Heslop' at London from his brother, cancelled with Field Post Office 'D.C.1.' cds of 1st Australian Infantry Division, at Messine Flanders. [W.P. Heslop besides being a noted stamp collector and doctor, was one on the original members of R.A.A.F. A conversation with one of his son's some years ago informed me that in 1916 flying over Point Cook, Dr Heslop was dropping bricks onto targets due to shortage of practice bombs]

    1956 (June) wreck cover to Apia with stamps floated off, Sydney machine-cancel, single-line cachet in violet 'SOILED MAIL EX "VASU"'. [The vessel was in transit between Fiji and Samoa when it sank]. Only 29 items of mail recovered

    1966-68 selection of £SD stamps used after introduction of Decimal Currency (8, one a registered metered impression) and £SD stamps in combination with Decimal stamps (15, seven registered, one certified), commercial and philatelic usages, good range of franking combinations (23). Scarce material [£SD stamps were valid for two years from 14 February 1966]
