    1916 (20 Nov) usage of circular 'PRISONER OF WAR LETTER/FREE' printed in black envelope to USA from 'G.A. Mayer/Capt./Berrima' endorsed on flap (one of two active duty German officers in German New Guinea) 'Lieut. Col R.S. Sands' censor cachet (Emery CA.228) and straight-line 'Moved C.E.S. No.49' scored over in pencil, original contents portraying the life of a P.O.W. on printed letter-head, with pen stroke through 'LIVERPOOL' and endorsed 'Berrima'. Significant WWI item

Holman censor cachet (CA.235) and 'PASSED BY/CENSOR.' in violet at left, complete with enclosure being a sheet of 'CONCENTRATION CAMPS, AUSTRALIA' stationery (PSNP.2). Letter in English, envelope a little roughly opened

    1940 airmail cover to NSW posted from HMAS 'Sydney' while stationed at Alexandria, Egypt for repairs, with HM Ships tombstone cachet in blue, adhesives tied by 'SYDNEY PAQUEBOT' cancel (Hosking No. 693) with square town die, also British Admiralty Records brochure giving account of the 'Bartolomeo Colleoni' sinking by HMAS 'Sydney'

    1942 and 1951 Official Registered Envelopes inscribed 'POSTAGE PAID/5d' at Melbourne, or '5d' at Sydney ('MELBOURNE' obliterated), former with mss. 'Badge', latter curiously from Army Medal Section to Philatelic Trader, Fritz Feibes, who had been interned as a P.O.W. at Tatura during WWII
