    1840 1d Black Plate 4 [PF] tied by crisp red Maltese Cross on 1840 (18 Jun) entire from Edinburgh to Inshie Bridge, despatch datestamp on flap which opens out well for display. Vertical filing fold, otherwise fine and attractive

    1841-57 group comprising Imperf 1d Red-brown [AA], unused, four margins except just touched at lower right, 1d Red-brown [GF], neat '72' in circle cancel, and 2d Blue [CF] (SG 8,8a,14); Perf 16 1d Red-brown [KF?] (SG 17); and Perf 14 2d Blue [TE], 1d Rose-red [FE], neat oval 'N/17' cancel, and 1d Deep Rose [PC], neat '50' in diamond cancel (SG 34,40,41).     1847-54 10d Brown Embossed Die 1, margins clear to just touching, tied by numeral '10' in diamond on 1850 (9 Mar) entire from London to Florence, adhesive also tied by 'ANGL/CALAIS' datestamp and 'VIA DI/BEAUVOISIN' transit mark, with red 'PF' in oval and fancy black Genoa handstamp, revere with Firenze 16 MAR 1850 arrival datestamp. Fine and most attractive
