    1857 (22 Jun) cover (flap tears from opening) Akaroa to U.K. prepaid '6' for long sea route, showing rare mss. 'Akaroa 22/6/57' and Postmaster's initials on reverse, Port Victoria transit and London arrival on front, Stafford and Salisbury datestamps on reverse curiously enhanced, apparently contemporaneously

Baker with autographed letter enclosed, latter a little soiled, backstamped Auckland, and San Francisco or Chicago, respectively

    1915 Parcel-wrapping bearing address label for The Carswell Company Ltd and remarkable franking of perfin 'W & T/W' Postal Fiscal 2/6d Grey-Brown, War Stamp opt ½d and KEVII 6d, tied by two strikes of oval 'WELLINGTON/24 NOV 1915/ PARCELS' datestamp, used to Washington where Parcel-Post tax was levied
