    1966 1d Churchill marginal example, error 'Gold printing misplaced', resulting in the value (1d) appearing at left and "TRISTAN DA CUNHA" at right, and additionally with value printed in the selvedge. With normal for comparison

    1935 stampless cover to Holland with three-line cachet 'Met Hr.Ms. K XVIII/Vervoerd van Tristan da Cunha/Naar Kaapstaad' in black, showing very fine strike of Type V cachet in violet, cancelled 'CAPETOWN 2 APR 25/PAQUEBOT'. Very rare, as most of the 'Submarine' mail consisted of postcards. A superb item
