1902-04 Wmk V over Crown Perf 12½ Pictorial ½d Green and 2d Deep Violet Litho and 1d Carmine-Red typo, 1903 9d Blue (2, one with double opt) and 1/- Rose and Green Sidefaces, and 1904 1½d on 5d Surcharge, all optd Type 2 (19 x 2½mm). Also the 1/- ‘SPECIMEN’ opt on 1931 local Hobart front, taxed and 1d (2) and 2d postage dues added. Fine large part o.g. (7 + 1 cover)
These overprints were used for U.P.U. distribution; the Pictorials and Sidefaces were distributed in August 1904, and the 1d on 5d surcharge in May 1905
