Lot 451		Estimate: $750 Realised Price : $575 1906 Wmk V over Crown (V4) Perf 12x12½ ‘POSTAGE’ ½d to £2 punctured ‘OS’ and cancelled-to-order with ‘MELBOURNE’ c.d.s. in 1906 for U.P.U. distribution. Very fine large part o.g. (15) With the exception of the 1897 Charity stamps, up to 1901 Victoria supplied all stamps to the U.P.U. in mint condition. Such stamps can therefore not be distinguished unless bearing an additional receiving authority marking. From 1901 the stamps supplied to the U.P.U. were cancelled-to-order
