    3d blue, SG 7, [4] fine unused showing prominent secondary flaw on elbow at right, portion of adjoining unit at left, minute pinhole. Kellow states of unused second state 3d 'probably about twenty unused examples are known'. This is one of the finest. Ex Purves, Perry

    3d blue, large-margined, and eighth printing 2d greenish grey (SG 17c) tied by Barred Oval '1' to 1852 (29 Nov) cover to U.K., paying 5d Inland/Ship Letter rate indicating the article was of provincial origin but uncancelled until arrival in Melbourne. Ex Purves, Perry
