    1d reddish brown, SG 12, large-margined pair, portions of three adjoining units, tied by Barred Oval '1' to 1854 (31 Aug) Official locally addressed Melbourne Town Letter (creases clear of adhesives) at increased 2d rate (from 1 May 1854), undeliverable and with handstruck 'ADVERTISED/AND/UNCLAIMED' and Butterfly '14' in red associated with Dead Letter Office, endorsed on reverse by each Melbourne letter carrier.
