Lot 329		Estimate: $450 Realised Price : $650 1902 Blank at Base ½d, 2d and 3d (latter wmk inverted) optd vertical 'SPECIMEN' (as applied in Tasmania) with additional 'ULTRAMAR' handstamp in blue, as used for UPU distribution to Portuguese Colonies. 3d stained on reverse, others fine no gum (3)
Lot 330		Estimate: $400 Realised Price : $700 1902 Blank at Base 2d and 1902-04 Design Completed 10d, each with 'ULTRAMAR' receiving handstamp in violet, applied in Lisbon prior to despatch of UPU specimens to the Portuguese Colonies. These two stamps form part of the distribution from Queensland, which supplied unused stamps. Also with a folder said to have been used by Portugal for forwarding UPU specimens to its Colonies
