    1888 cover endorsed 'From J.E. Young S.G.T. HMS Swinger Cooktown' countersigned 'George W Cornish' and franked with 1d Sideface (excised and neatly replaced as on all 'Swinger' covers), tied on arrival at London with 'FB' obliterator, and with handstruck '1D/F.B.', Boston arrival backstamp (NO 12 88)

    1901 (6 Mar) cover from Isisford to London franked with QV 1d Purple Stamp Duty (3) incorrectly overpaying the 2½d rate, blue crayon 'T', handstamped in black '25/CTMS/T' and '5D/F.B.', Blackall cds on front and with backstamps of Rockhampton, Brisbane and Tottenham. (The flap has printed 'ELLIS SUTTON/WESTWARD HO HOTEL/ISISFORD', who became the first person in Australia to have a contract for mail to be carried in a motor vehicle)
