    1850-1912 mostly used collection on SS leaves, imperf incl Half-Lengths (6), 6d Too Late and 1/- Registered, Woodblocks with serrated perf and 2/- green mint (faults), later issues with some better incl Beaded Oval 6d orange, Laureate 5/- blue on yellow, £5 to £9 bi-coloured Stamp Duties fiscally used, Charities 1897 (mint) and 1900 (used), KEVII £1 and £2 used, plus Postage Dues ½d to 5/- brown and blue (1890) and red and green (1895) sets. Mixed condition (168)

    Second state of dies: 2d Grey-lilac corner example [30], SG 6, tied by indistinct Butterfly '19' (rated RR) to 1850 (17 Jul) entire letter to Melbourne, minor soiling at left, backstamps of The Leigh and Melbourne. Ex Purves, Linfield

    1856 Imperforate 1d Green, SG 40, selection on leaves comprising examples unused (3), used (82) including few pairs, postmark interest with mostly barred numeral, also two examples showing portion of barred oval, few with doubling and re-entries in designs. Varying margins, mixed condition (80). Retail as normals AU$2400+

    1871-79 Stamp Statutes complete simplified to £5 including ½d on 1d and 2/6d yellow (perf fault) postally used, 3d and 2/6d orange reprints, 6d unused and 1/- mint, the balance fiscally used. Mixed condition

    1879-80 Stamp Duty simplified complete series 1d (both types) to £100 including very rare 35/- (mss. cancel). 3/- green, 6/- and £1 CTO, 1/- (both varieties), 2/-, 3/- grey, 4/-, 5/- (both shades), and 10/- green postally used. Majority fine except £6 torn and creased. A good lot (33)
