    1899-1902 President Nicolas de Pierola with inscriptions removed 5s Orange-red and 10s Blue-green, and Postage Due 5s Yellow-green and 10s Purple-brown, overprinted seriffed SPECIMEN in blue (5s Orange-red) or red. Superb MUH and very scarce, ex American Bank Note Co. archives, SG 353-354,D355-356 (4)

    1899 Postage Due 10s Purple-brown cancelled Lima cds. Three central thin spots, however a very rare stamp of which only 150 were printed, with most used examples having defects similar to this copy. SG D256, cat £1700

    1895 (14 Jan) registered cover to Vienna with 1894 President Overprints 1c Orange (2), 1c Green, 2c Violet (2), 2c Carmine, 5c Blue, 10c Green (2), plus 2c Vermilion (2) and 5c Blue (2) with additional horseshoe overprint (two stamps on reverse), all tied with Lima cds, and with boxed Lima registration handstamp and 'AR' in circle. London oval transit ds and Wien arrival backstamp. Few small tears in base of cover, but a very attractive philatelic franking

London oval transit ds, and Wien arrival backstamp. An attractive philatelic franking

    1895 (27 May) registered cover to Halle, Germany with 1894 President Overprints 1c Orange (2), 1c Green, 2c Violet (2), 2c Carmine, plus 2c Vermilion (2) and 1895 5c Lake cancelled Lima cds, and with boxed Lima registration handstamp and 'AR' in circle, Halle arrival backstamp. Vertical crease not affecting adhesives, and an attractive philatelic franking
