    6d Progressive Die Proof with blank value and labels, in black on India paper affixed to card (69 x 80mm), stain spot at top well clear of design. Three examples recorded, one of which is in the Royal Collection. A wonderful proof ex Yardley, Ginger, Hutson and ''Manwood''

    6d Die Proof in black on India paper affixed to card (48 x 49mm). Very fine and rare

    6d Plate Proof in Black, a block of four on wove unwmkd paper. Very fine

    6d Trial Proofs affixed to a piece (172x51mm) in varying colours (purple-brown, steel-blue, vermilion, green and carmine) each with one waxed corner and individually numbered below in manuscript. Mainly cut close though a rare and colourful item. Ex White

    6d Imperforate Plate Proof in Dull Brown without watermark, and with portion of 'CANCELLED' obliteration, close top large margins. Position 6 from the block of 6 of these famous specimens prepared in 1861 for presentation to members of the Hill family. Ex 'Manwood' and Jaffe
