    1862-67 Proof block of 108 of the recently discovered 1d Indian Red sent from the Colonial Secretary's Office to Perkins Bacon & Co. on 17th January 1863 with an order for new paper. On the reverse is a rough sketch of the watermark required 'QUEENSLAND - POSTAGE STAMPS - STAMPS' in three lines of script capital. The stamps have been cancelled with pen lines in corrosive black ink. Some creasing, tears etc, nevertheless an amazing survivor and an important piece of Queensland philately. The largest known multiple from a sheet of 240 for the Ham issue. [See P de Worms, PB Records Volume I at pp 211-13]
