    2013 Centenary of Commonwealth Stamps and Australia 2013 Philatelic Exhibition an extensive and probably complete collection of the stamps, miniature sheets and other philatelic souvenirs created for these events, together with associated ephemera, including all Patrons Club limited editions and other special overprints on booklets and miniature sheets, stamp & coin covers, etc. Also included is a range of material associated with the Kangaroo stamps or Federation, such as platings of National Stamp Week miniature sheets; plus various ephemera and some philatelic material from the 1901-12 period, including some postal stationery. A remarkable lot that would be veery difficult to duplicate, the face value of the mint stamps alone is AU$400+ (100s).

    Aberfelde and Klussendorf Trials: Aberfelde trials on plain paper, and on Platypus paper, both showing Z01 cliche number and with 5c denomination, and Klussendorf trial on plain paper with z99 cliche number and 22c denomination. These machines were intended to accept credit cards, but the proposed field trials never took place. Also a short strip of Platypus paper with Combined Stamp Calculator printing dated 16/12/1989, of unknown status but possibly a trial for the CSC. Rare trials (6)

    Barred Edge Design: Brisbane 4000 Postcode 65c denomination on commercial first day of use cover to U.K., No Postcode first day of use cover (20 AUG 1985) from Ringwood (Vic), Canberra 2600 Postcode error 30c denomination mint, with 2601 postcode normal, and 2601 Postcode corrected used on piece showing faulty digit wheels. The 2600 Postcode error is a major Frama rarity, with only five examples reported (BW 1023Bac, cat AU$500) (5)
