Lot 310		Estimate: $2,000 1959 Queensland Self-Government Centenary 4d die proof in issued colours liberated from its sunken mount, large margins all round and superb. The violet colour for the jacaranda was printed from electrotype plates on the issued stamps and there was no die, so for the presentation die proofs this colour was added by handpainting.
