    1959 Queensland Self-Government Centenary 4d die proof in issued colours liberated from its sunken mount, large margins all round and superb. The violet colour for the jacaranda was printed from electrotype plates on the issued stamps and there was no die, so for the presentation die proofs this colour was added by handpainting. This stamp is one of only a handful for which this technique was applied. Nine die proofs were prepared, one of which is in the Royal Collection. BW 375DP(1), cat $AU$3000

    1963-65 Navigators set of six presentation die proofs in issued colours, liberated from their sunken mounts, all with adequate to large margins. The £1 and £2 show some marks from the sellotape used to affix the proofs in their mounts, not affecting the designs, and the others are very fine. Ten die proofs were prepared of the 4/-, nine of the 7/6d, 10/-, £1 and £2, and eight of the 5/-, one each of which is in the Royal Collection. Also included are the original envelopes which contained each mounted proof. Rarely offered as a complete set. BW 404-409(DP)1, cat AU$24000

    1963-65 Navigators set of four Post Office Publicity Cards, comprising 4/- block of 4, 5/- block of 4, 7/6d and £2, and 10/- and £1. The 5/- and 7/6d/£2 cards have several mild creases, otherwise the cards are clean and the condition is generally good. Rarely offered as a complete set. BW 404x, 405x, 408xc, 409xc, cat AU$1400
