    1953-65 large accumulation of Commemorative Issues on hagners, mostly in mint blocks (including quantities of 2/3d values), many plate varieties in positional pieces (1960 5d NT Exploration fairly specialised including se-tenant multiples showing different types), range of publicity photographs and photographs of unadopted designs. Virtually all MUH/M and generally very fine/superb. A very useful lot (100s)

    1953 Produce Food 3d and 3½d se-tenant strips of 3 presentation 'die proofs' in issued colours (actually imperforate stamps) in sunken mounts, with Note Printing cachets on reverse endorsed '6/23-1-53' (presented to Sir Daryl Lindsay of the Stamp Advisory Committee). Eight pairs of die proofs were prepared, one pair of which is in the Royal Philatelic Collection. A few tone spots on 3d Beef, otherwise fresh and superb and a rarely offered set. BW 287/8/9DP(1) and 290/1/2/DP(1), cat AU$18000 (2)

    1953 3½d Young Farmers' Clubs Presentation Die Proof in issued colours in sunken frame, with Note Printing Branch cachet on reverse endorsed '24.8.53/65' (Sir Daryl Lindsay, Stamp Advisory Committee). Some staining, otherwise fine, eight die proofs were prepared, one of which is in the Royal Collection. BW 303DP(1), cat AU$3500

    1954 Royal Visit 3½d, 7½d and 2/- Presentation Die Proofs in issued colours in a composite sunken mount, with Note Printing Branch cachets on reverse and numbered '13.1.54/48, 20 and 16' respectively (Sir Giles Chippendall, Director-General of the PMG's Department). Some staining, eight composite proofs were prepared, one of which is in the Royal Collection, BW 308/9/10DP(1), cat AU$10000

    1957 7d Royal Flying Doctor Service variety 'Recut Frame and Weak Entry under 'AUSTRA' with associated 'Wandering Dot' (R1/6) from Electro a M (2) and in M block of 6, and from Electro b in M block of 8, also 'Recut Frame Under AUSTRA' (R4/6) M. Also 1962 1/- Colombo Plan variety 'Retouched Shading at Centre Right' (R8/10) in M corner block of 4. Fine with most units MUH (21)

    1963 5d Blue Mountains Die Proof in issued colour on thick paper (66mm x 53mm) with cut corners, fine and superb. This does not appear to be printed on stamp paper and may not therefore be a 'liberated' presentation die proof, but rather a previously unrecorded proof from a different source.

    1963 5d Export presentation die proof in issued colour in sunken frame, with note Printing Branch cachet on reverse endorsed '2.10.63/4' (B.F. Jones, Deputy Director-General of the P.M.G.'s Department). Fresh and superb, offered with the envelope in which it was originally contained. Ten die proofs were prepared, one of which is in the Royal Collection. BW 397(DP)1, cat AU$3000
