    1860-86 inwards cover group from Great Britain including 1860 to Auckland bearing 1/- green with marginal inscription, 1869 entire letter and cover to Napier and Auckland bearing 6d and 4d, 1886 to Dunedin bearing ½d (12, four folded over edges), mixed condition. Ex Doron Azouri

    1867 (30 Oct) cover from Scotland to 'The Hon Edward Stafford, Wellington', franked by G.B. 6d (hyphen) Plate 6, SG 104, endorsed 'Via Panama', flap tears upon opening. Only small mails were carried to Australasia via this short-lived route (June 1866 to Dec 1869). [Edward Stafford was New Zealand's first Premier and Colonial Secretary, and member for the Province of Nelson in the House of Representatives]

    1878 (4 Apr) inwards use of Switzerland 25c Envelope uprated with 50c Seated Helvetia used from Geneva to 'Greymouth/New Zealand/(Australie)', oval cachet of Museum of Natural History, reverse with backstamps of Brindisi, Sydney, Christchurch and Greymouth, roughly opened at top and flap faults. Amazing and rare destination

    1917 (10 Apr) registered cover from Onehunga to Kuala Lumpur with Straits Settlements 'OPENED BY THE/CENSOR AND/OFFICIALLY SEALED' tape affixed and with 'LETTER CENSOR'S OFFICE/G.P.O.' and 'PASSED/POSTAL CENSOR/PENANG' handstamps front and reverse
