    Postal History: 1940 (22 Oct) film case sent by 'Northern Transport Agency' in London to the 'Dept of Information/Melbourne' with the truly remarkable franking of KGVI 10/- Dark Blue x 40 (some damage as to be expected) with customs label affixed stating 'Negative Cinema Film/357. feet./ (value) 24-0-10'. The postage rate at this time was 4/6d per oz (the space above the customs label suggests a 5/- stamp has fallen off) thus paying the rate of 4/6d x 90 oz = 45oz. An outstanding item for an airmail exhibit. [Includes April 2007 'Stamp News' article titled 'Philately of Epic Proportions' featuring this item]
