With very fine 'CENSORED/DETENTION BARRACKS/TRIAL BAY N.S.W.' handstamp in violet at lower right, light folds from having been carried on person. Believed to be the only known registered cover with an Australian Loose Ship Letter handstamp in this period, and all the more remarkable for the Avis de Reception handstamp  | ||

This Executive Order was signed by President Roosevelt on 10th April 1940 for the Protection of Funds of the Victims of Aggression following the Nazi invasion of Denmark and Norway.
