1856 (19 Dec) cover from Heathcote to the Colonial Secretary in Melbourne franked 1d Queen-on-Throne and 3d Half-length (both touched in places), cancelled BN 49, and with manuscript 'Heathcote/Dec 19th' P.O. endorsement on reverse (the datestamp having been returned to have the year changed). Staining around punch hole at lower right, otherwise good appearance.   | ||
