The Sheet A Cracked Imprint is represented by Ash and McCracken imprint blocks of 16 before crack, McCracken imprint blocks of 4 (3) showing early states of the crack, and imprint blocks of 4 (2) and sheet of 80 showing the full extent of the crack. The Sheet F Cracked imprint early state is shown in McCracken imprint pieces (4) and the more extensive states in imprint blocks of 6 and 4 (4) and in a sheet of 80. In addition there are eight sheets of 80 with McCracken imprint from Sheets A to F showing all the other listed plate varieties. Very few tone spots were noted, generally very fine. An exceptional study, probably the most extensive ever formed, very high catalogue value (1,049 plus four covers)
