Plus a detailed study of the development of the perf pip fractures on sheet A (11 blocks) and sheet B (9 blocks). In addition there are several pages of used stamps with plate varieties identified, including listed and unlisted flaws. A few used stamps affected by rust, otherwise very fine and one of the finest studies of this stamp that has been assembled. 1959-63 5d Blue QEII study of the booklet plate varieties mounted on pages most listed flaws are present, mostly represented in complete booklets (and thus with two examples of each flaw) and by used stamps, comprising Panel C 5/2, Panel E 3/4, Panel G 5/1, Panel G 7/6, Panel I 7/1, Panel L 2/1 and 4/1. The rare unlocated 'Distorted S of AUSTRALIA' (BW 356n, cat AU$275) is represented by two used singles. In addition there are six pages of identified flaws, both listed and unlisted, in used singles with considerable duplication, and an example of the 5/- booklet with Tattersalls advertising which was quickly withdrawn. An exceptional study, possibly the finest of its kind, with condition generally fine to very fine, and very high catalogue value (14 booklets, approx 400 U)
