1937-38 Coil Testing Label in Green, partial roll showing coil joins between each 20 stamps, couple of stamps damaged near end of roll, otherwise very fine. A remarkable survivor the likes of which we have not seen before (estimated at least 400 stamps)

Generally fine condition and a useful lot (160M, 44U, 7 covers plus others)

Sesquicentenary range of usages on cover, with 2d postcard and letter rates including a few illustrated envelopes, and punctured G/NSW on Dept of Education lettersheet, and with KGV 1/4d on 1937 airmail cover to England; 3d foreign rates, also pair with 6d and 1/- on 1937 airmail cover to Austria; 9d pair wth 1d, 6d and 1/- on 1937 airmail cover to England, pair with 6d on 1937 airmail cover to France, plus many others including some philatelic. Some with small faults but mostly good to fine (49 covers)

1946-1959 fairly complete for the period, and as sent to the U.P.U. for specimen purposes, affixed to sheets and annotated in French, believed to be from the Portuguese India U.P.U. set. Majority of the stamps are mint, but most of those in the period 1948 to 1954 are cancelled-to-order, including the 5/-, 10/- and £1 Arms (rarely seen in that form). Some minor damage to the flimsy pages but the stamps are fine, a few AAT and PNG are included (101)
