1858 (12th Jul) entire from a Germany missionary addressed to Bremen bearing 1857 No Watermark 1/- Green bisected vertically, SG 6a and 1857 White paper 2d Blue strip of three - lifted and replaced, all clearly cancelled with numeral of Otago, manuscript '8' and '1/4' rate marks, 'P' within oval in red, London and Bremen backstamps, minor cover creasing/soiling and two 2d adhesives missing at left. The 1/- bisects are generally found on mail to England paying the 6d rate. Recorded in 'Postage Stamps of New Zealand, Vol I' pp.61. 1995 Holcombe and Van Der Linden Certificates.
