Officials: 1895 'OS' Overprint remainders cancelled-to-order with 'G.P.O.' in concentric ovals and additionally overprinted 'Specimen', group comprising 8d Diadem (OS opt in black), 1d, 2d, 4d, 6d, 10d and 1/- De La Rue types, 1d, 2d, 4d, 6d and 1/- Centennial, ½d on 1d, 7½d on 6d and 12½d on 1/- Surcharges, ½d Grey and 2½d Allegorical, all part OG and generally very fine. Of 1000 sets prepared, only 100 were cancelled with the G.P.O. marking, and of these only 50 received the additional 'Specimen' opt. A rare and seldom offered group (17)
