    Moreton Bay District: A selection of Imperforate Diadem issues used during the Provisional Period, mostly from Brisbane, with void concentric ovals on 1d (2), 2d Plate II on pieces (2, one dated 5.10.1860), 3d (2), 6d (2), and 'Q.L.' in concentric ovals ion 1d (3, incl pair on piece dated 29.6.1860), 2d Plate II (9, incl strip of 3), 3d pair, 6d shades (6), 1/-. Also late use of 2d Laureate cancelled 'Q.L.' in concentric ovals, 1d Diadem pair on piece cancelled '214' in rays (Toowoomba) with Ipswich arrival c ds 1.3.1860, and 2d Plate II pair cancelled '85' in rays (Drayton). Apart from one 6d, the condition is uniformly very fine to superb, a magnificent lot (35)

    Moreton Bay District: 6d (5, various printings) and 1/- Perforated Diadems used during the Provisional Period, with Brisbane void concentric ovals (2) or 'Q.L.' in concentric ovals cancels. A scarce group, the use of perforated stamps was small (6)

    Moreton Bay District: 1d Diadem Imperf (four margins) on piece tied by Brisbane 'QL' duplex, dated NO 1 60, the last day of valid use of New South Wales stamps in Queensland, together with cut-out Gazette notice to the public informing them of their discontinuation. Fine and desirable

Two very similar types of '201' are known with 20 or 22 rays, both of which appear to be represented here, both are rated RRR (7)
